Service Provider – Performance Analysis
The NSW Institute of Sport is the state’s peak elite sports agency. The Institute supports more than 700 high performance athletes on squad or individual scholarships and offers over 33 sports programs. Our specialist services ensure that NSWIS athletes have access to leading edge coaches and sports technology while also receiving tailored support to help balance their elite sporting commitments with personal development and a career.
NSWIS are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic full-time Service Provider – Performance Analysis to join our successful team. A full job description is on the NSWIS website (www.nswis.com.au) but the key responsibilities are the following:
Assist in the development of scientific protocols designed to test and monitor athletes
Provide sport science services to NSWIS and National Sports programs including delivery of testing and monitoring programs, analysis of data with translation into reports and training programs
To be successful you will need to have the following skills and attributes:
Bachelors degree in Human Movement, Sport Science or equivalent
Specific knowledge of computer applications in video editing and analysis, data manipulation, and training materials
Experience in Sportscode software would be an advantage
Capacity to analyse data, interpret results & produce reports
This position is open to Australian residents and applicants who have the relevant work rights within Australia.
